    We just passed 2000 hits on this site since launching it less than 2 years ago. For an academic page, getting almost 3 hits per day is pretty awesome - maybe I should start having ads! :-)

    Software Release: RED 3.2

    RED Today we have released version 3.2 of RED, our Requirements Editor. We are working to make this the last internal release, and plan to go open source next month.

    ACM-E Today, the inaugural meeting of the ACM Europe council was held at the Royal Society. Several new task forces have been appointed and will resume activity in the coming months. Harald was appointed head of an effort to develop a digital communication strategy.

    Dissertation Price Workshop

    Every year, the Informatics societies in German-speaking countries award the price for the best Computer Science doctoral dissertation. Every Faculty in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland is entitled to nominate one candidate, and they present their thesis at the IBFI Dagstuhl, itself a prestigious place. Harald is a member of the jury, and while he cannot revela anything about the status and results so far, he can assert that the line-up was impressive this year, as every year!

    HuFaMo-Workshop

    HuFaMoToday, the MoDELS conference endorsed the 1st Workshop on Human Factors in Modeling to be on the program of this year's MoDELS conference in Ottawa. Please help spread the word for this novel format to promote empirical, human factors work in the modeling community - or submit your study!

    ICMTOur paper at ICMT'15 has been accepted! The conference takes place in l'Aquila, Italy, in July. ICMT is co-located with STAF (including, e.g., ECMFA).

    ACM ACM wants to become the first truly global CS professional body. We seek to foster cooperation in Europe and support European policy makers by unbiased expertise when needed, to serve the best interest of society at large.
