ModelScope
Description
The ModelScope is a tool to compute size metrics on models and visualize them. ModelScope has a highly polished user interface inviting playful interactions that make it particularly suitable for an explorative style of working.
Usage
ModeScope is modeled after and built on the metaphor of an oscilloscope: in the olden days, electrical engineers would apply an array of probes, processing signals over various channels, and combining their readings in a visual display. Turning knobs to adjust scales, and pressing buttons to apply filters, switch axes, and so on allowed us to explore circuits and develop an understanding of them. Just like that, the ModelScope provides an interface to study models quantitatively. Students might explore their designs, researchers may study new metrics on samples, and engineers cn track the progress of their project.
History
ModelScope is the result of the Master's thesis of Jacob B. Hansen, replacing an earlier exploratory prototype by Panagiotis Tsakos, and some features of the MACH tool. While solveing the original task, this version of ModelScope was almost impossible to use in a straightforward way. So Ivan Petrov was employed to help with the redesign and reimplementation of the UI, and now Ivan has taken over as part of his Master's thesis.

Installation
ModelScope is only available on Microsoft platforms, and requires version 4.5 of the .NET platform installed. You can download it from MicroSoft
starting amounts to running the file "modelscope.exe".
